U9 Jets get through to semis of Byron Red Star Tournament

We are proud to announce that our newly merged Chigwell Boys FC Jets/Sharks U9 team (now U9 Jets) got through to the semi final of the Byron Red Star Tournament on Saturday 4 July 2015.

The boys came second in the group stages, where they drew 0-0 with Billericay (prem side). We were unlucky not to win after having a shocking decision go against us.

We then lost 1-0 to Cheshunt FC.

We then won 3-2 against the hosts Byron Red Star (prem side) with a last minute screamer from Josh.

All four teams in the group finished on 4 points so it went down to goals scored and we sneaked through.

We then drew 0-0 with Hutton in the semi finals and then lost 3-2 on penalties (there were 22 penalties taken in total so credit to both keepers!)
